Hello everyone I have a veiled chameleon Sully, he is about a year old and I recently noticed about 3 days ago he has multiple black spots and I can't determine if they are burns or bruises from the crickets which free roam to allow him to hunt.

Sex: male, approx 1 year old
Cage: 5ftx2.5ftx2.5ft
Lighting: 100 watt UVB; switched to 50 watt
Watering: Exoterra Misting System every 4 hours for 60 seconds/ and waterfall
Feeding: 6-10 crickets daily free roam; every 5th feeding calcium suppliment

If there is anything else you need to know please let me know im worried about him

I noticed you have two lights on the top, so I am assuming one is uvb and the other is uva/basking. You said 100watt uvb and changed to a 50, so I gather that is your basking? A uvb light should not cause a burn but a basking will. If your basking was 100watt then that could be your culprit as yes, those appear to be thermal burns. You can put some polysporin or Neosporin on the burns or if you have some Silvadene that would be even better.
