what misting system is right for me?

I'm new to chams...and Currently setting up for a male carpet I'll be getting in a week or two. I'm considering buying a misting system and am wondering which one is right for me. I don't necessarily need one that can do multiple cages, something more basic will probably do for me, but I don't necessarily want to get the cheapest one either (I'm guessing you get what you pay for here). I would like to spend under $100 if possible. Thanks.

One more question, if I have a system that can do 4-6 times or however many I need in a day should I still have a dripped as well?

For under $100 there wont be too many good ones. I say spend a little more on Aquazamp.com or Mistking.com . They have the best Misters around and you will get what you pay for around ($125). There is cheaper misters from reptile brands but I don't think its worth it because all the bad reviews.

The difference in price between the monsoon and either the mist king or the aquazamp is not even close to the difference in quality- Mine monsoon lasted 2 months at the outside- and usually when it fails it runs until it soaks your rugs -
Spend the extra - or keep all your boxes and receipts as moonsoon do have a pretty good replacement policy - some members went through 3 or 4 of them.

As people have said, you get what you pay for.

I have a mist king, and have not been happier.

Now, my model runs up to 20 cages, because I got the ultimate. However, you can get the basic model from LLL reptile for 99 bucks (I think) plus shipping. and they are really good should something have broken in the process. ( I had a fitting arrive broken and they replaced it for me)

They are prompt.

The basic can run up to ten cages, but sounds like you wont need that (for now.. beware, chammies are addicting).

The timer for the mist king is pretty simple. you decide how often you want it to mist, and for how long, then you simply program it in.

I will, say a common mistake ive seen with the mister is that people switch the intake and outtake hoses on the pump, which doesn't allow water to flow. but I believe everything is labeled.

I second that. I too own a Mist King and couldn't be happier. And like Camimon said you can get it at LLLreptile for $99.00 and the shipping is way cheaper than buying straight from the manufacturer. Unless you live in Canada. Buy one you won't be disappointed. :D
A monsoon will cost about the same anyway.
