What kind of wood is appropriate for terra ?

I know only αβουτ marine plywood !
Is there any other ?

Almost any wood can be used for terramiums. You just have to coat it with a good non-toxic water sealant.

It mainly comes down to:
Budget = obviously
Design = Furniture Grade(high end) or Utilitarian Grade(basic)
Wieght = Some woods are much lighter than others

Yes Melamine is just Particle Board (3/5") or Plywood (1/4") with a thick acrylic coating. I used it back in the day to build most of my cages. The only thing is you have to make sure to seal the joints with silicone to prevent water from getting into the actual wood.
