What kind of plant is this?

My grandmother bought this plant for herself years ago but has no idea what it is, I wanted to get one for myself. Any ideas? I can try to get a better photo if needed.

Not a great picture but it could be some sort of Schefflera. Can't really tell. It looks pretty light-deprived too, so it isn't growing as densely bushy as it probably would normally. They are pretty persistent. Check the forum's safe plants list for the correct type of Schefflera to look for. There are several different ones.
