what kind of plant is this?

Does anyone know what type of plant this is? I think it is a Schafferella (spelling?) my guy has free ranged in it plenty of times, but just got a 24X24X48 cage and want to put this plant in it.... Want to double check before I make it part of his habitat. TIA
