What kind is he?

My Panther was sold to me as a female because of the brownish color and it was about 6 mo old. I know now that he is definetly a male panther but not sure which breed. Normally he is brownish/green with white stripe. When he comes out to climb he turns reddish with blue stripe. I know these colors are not because he is stressed, he is a very people friendly cham. Here are some pics.

It's sometimes hard to tell if a chameleon is stressed. They're good at keeping secrets. ;)

With the maroon U bar over the resting forest green and slight blues? I would say Andapa! I wish... hehe I think he is awesome either way. If you're not sure, and until he fully matures I wouldn't recommend breeding him.

Andapa is my guess though. But again, depends where you got him. Not many people have Andapa as far as I know. Ambilobe????

Well I managed to get one pic attached. His bar turns turquoise and white and when he is happy he is reddish. I'm really not sure what kind of panther he is and need an opinion.
Thanks!

This was Rocko when he was about 6 mo. He is usually green and brown, but when he's happy he is this vibrant red. He changes colors alot, I always ask him what outfit he is going to wear today. LOL

I think he might be a mix. He changes colors when he is in different settings. In his cage he is usually dark green and brown like camo with white bar and reddish underneath. When I let him out to free roam he turns a vibrant reddish color and his bar is turquoise. He is a one of a kind, and loves attention.

mine does the same thing he tries to blend but when he comes out of his cage his color EXPLODES........nice looking chameleon by the way :)

What locale

based on his rostrum and his colors and how his crest formed i would agree. I am not an expert on this but i have been reading up a fair amount on identifying chams just on appearance. Plus the barring look as though it is a mix.
