It's a cicada. They have really hard shells so if your cham is big enough (full adult veiled, panther, oustalet, etc) then they might be able to eat it - use good judgement. If it looks too big then don't do it. But if it's a young cham that cicada will be too big and hard to eat.

yup thats a cicada it makes a funny noise but they are good to feed to a adult chameleon or a big enough chameleon or any other reptile big enough to eat it
