Is this a sperm plug? That would seem a little unusual to me since my veiled is 13 months old... I've been finding this stuff dried all over his cage

Yep, that's a sperm plug. How is it unusual? He could produce it way earlier. Many have.

yep. it isn't unusual at all for a 13 month old! they can start producing them at as early as 5 months.

Oh. I didn't know that they did this on a regular basis! I've had him for one and a half months and I thought they only did this when they were going through maturity. Learn something new every day
