I have some veiled chameleon eggs incubating. They are doing well, they are a nice white colour and plump. However I noticed that one of the eggs had a spot on it that was yellowish with a drop of some sort of yellow liquid. Does anyone know what this could be?? Thanks.

Can you get a picture of it? Sounds like a ruptured egg, could be caused by too much moisture if that is the case. How long have they been incubating?

They have been incubating about 20 days now... and I thought that the medium was TOO wet (vermiculite) so I actually mixed some new vermiculite, and put the eggs in that (carefully so the eggs were laying in the same positions). It prob, is ruptured then. Should I still keep it though and wait and see?

Posting a pic would be best, since I don't feel comfortable telling you what it is, or is not purely based on verbal description. But if it is ruptured, you can count it as a goner. :(
