I got a chameleon just over 2 months ago and I was told it was a male by the seller. However someone told me that I have a female so I wanted to get a second option
Here are some photos

A female can live a long healthy life as well. You just have to drop temps down at basking to 78-79 and reduced feeding so she lays a smaller clutch. Do you have the details on that?
I’ve been looking up how to make the lay bin and all that. I’ll start to feed her less and lower the temp. How much less should I feed her. I give her around 20-30 crickets a day idk how many of those she eats tho

Hi. She is beautiful! I absolutely adore the subtle beauty of lady panthers. 🥰 How old is she? Her age will determine how much you should be feeding her. If she’s between 3-4 months, I’d say give her about 12+ appropriately sized feeders. At 5 months, start reducing so that by the time she’s 6+ months, she’s getting 6-8 feeders. After 2-3 weeks of that feed the same amount every other day. While there’s no scientific basis in reducing slowly, I just think it’s kinder to let them adjust. Once she’s laid her first clutch, then you’ll feed her very well for2-3 days immediately after and then start feeding 3-4 feeders 3 days a week. Keep basking temps no higher than 80. Make sure your uvb and supplements are en pointe in order to prevent any laying issues. It may take a couple of clutches to see results from your efforts. In all of 2020, both of my ladies laid only once and that was back in Feb/March. Hope this helps.:)

I’ve had for since October 22. The last photo I sent originally was taken during the car ride back to my house. I couldn’t find an exact age of them they sell baby Chams but I gathered it was around 4-6 weeks so I estimate that she is 3 to 3.5 months old.
thank you for the feeding advice. Much appreciated
