I am getting my chameleon in two days! So excited! I have a ton of crickets, however i want to get some other feeders. I read that mealworms are fatty, so those can be reserved as a treat. However should i get a few wax worms, silk worms? Also how many would be appropriate for a 2-3 month old veiled?

would i be able to keep those in the same cage as my crickets, or should i buy a separate smaller enclosure for them?

Silkworms, hornworms, crickets, roaches and locust can be considered as a staple feeder. Good thing about silkworms is the high calcium ratio. Don't even need to dust them. Best worm I ever fed. My Chams love them. Only disadvantage: when there are no silkies available, mine go on a mini hunger strike.

So does mine, except he will eat other worms, but not crickets or roaches:mad:
