I was wondering what a good age to get a baby veiled chameleon at? I'm getting one in two weeks.

OK thanks but just wondering why no less than 3 months?
They are very fragile when they are young... Also there are natural die off periods that hatchlings go through in the first few months.

Yea, but there is something special about getting a baby frilly, and wondering if an adult male green anole can beat it in a fight...
Still if its a private breeder, no amount of begging is going to get you a cham younger than even 4 months.
I remember being on a waiting list " they are only 5 months old, im not shipping them NOW, you will have to wait, you can drive down and pick one up if you want"

I think you should be at least 16 years old, unless your parents are willing to share the responsibilities. Lol.
I did not even think of the possibility that they were talking about how old as a keeper.
