Hey all, well being in south africa it didnt really come to a surprise...

Where I live there is too many buildings and people for them to be so near.
They are about 15-30 km out from where I live, in nature parks.
but these specific animals are roaming in Mpumalanga/Limpopo in the Kruger park.

And Jess, the elephants are nice to watch at a safe distance, get too close and chances of them charging at you are high.

North of South Africa you can find these animals sometimes walking in your yard.

I have heard stories of herds of elephants passing through gardens.

Elephants are scary... The males in musk more so.

Cool stuff. All I have are really lame squirrel/chipmunk/meerkat things that make weird noises. Occationally I find a rabbit or a hawk (usually flying off with a squirrel thing.)

When I said "Peaceful" I assume people respect their space and keep a safe distance.

Even when I worked on captive elephants we took precautions, any animal can attack when you break it down.

Lol true, dont worry I have been clean for months now, feeling good about it

lol sometimes I think it would be safer riding a lion around instead of walking, aslong as the lion doesnt attack you that is
