What does it mean?

Not sure how to explain it but what does it mean when your chameleon does a sigh/grunt? It happens when I move him out of reach from certain things, so i'm assuming it's because he wants to go somewhere but your not letting him and he gets frustrated?
Funny little creatures they are.

Sometimes they will stretch out if reaching for something and the sound you hear can be the air displaced from the lungs when they relax their muscles. (Less room in the lung cavity doesn't allow as much air to stay in them.)
