what does 1.0 and .1 mean?

i've been noticing some of your signatures lately and been seeing this .1 1.0 and other what looks like to me a ratio of some sort always followed by a breed of cham. what does this mean?

1.0 = male
0.1 = female
1.1 one male and one female and so on......

i dont know if i can fully awnser your question but i know that 1.0 means that your chameleon is a male and 0.1 is your cham is a female. and im guessing if you have 3 males or 3 females it would be 3.0 and 0.3 im not to sure about the second part involving how many you have but im 100% on the first
