What do you think of my vivariums?

Two of my three enclosures for my buddies coming next week. Third will be identical

I would remove the substrait and you may already no but make sure there is something in the middle so they Carnt see each other but they look good. Removing the substrait is a must

Visually pleasing, yet health wise, concerning. The substrate isn't needed, but I'm not going to say you CAN'T have it. If you cup feed I feel like you could get away with the substrate since it doesn't appear to be soil that could cause impaction. That being said, it will harvest a tonne of bacteria, as well as the waterfalls you have in the corners. The upper 2/3 of your enclosure look very nice though. And like chameleonkev said, make sure you have a solid divider between the enclosures.

I have a piece of black plexiglass like material going in between the three enclosures and I will remove the fountains and the substrate on the floor. Do you recommend simple turf or just screen for the flooring?

Certainly a shame that you have to remove the substrate, the cages are very artistic, very beautiful.

Most of us just keep the floor of the cage bare or use a few paper towels. You can use turf, but you have to be sure to keep it clean and sanitary.

Besides that, your chameleons will be very lucky to call these enclosures home Great work

Thank you. One last question ... These are 24x24x48 that are fully automatic, misters, light, etc. They are sitting on a piece of furniture - should I get something for them to sit on and drain into? Since this is such a common size, maybe someone can comment on what they use to drain or sit on - like a Rubbermaid bin or something like that. Please?

I have used bark substrate for years with no problems. But then again, none of my chameleons are ever down at the bottom eating bark. I also clean my cage at least once a month, so bacteria and mold aren't an issue.

I love the looks of them! Very natural

Can I move in? Looks very good! As said in the previous posts, no waterfall, no substrate, the minimal you keep it the easier to clean it.

I drill holes in the middle of the floor and set my cages on wire shelves with rubbermaid totes underneath to catch the water. Many people convert bathroom sink vanities (remove the sink). Search "drainage", you will find lots of ideas and how to guides. Drainage is key to maximizing your misting system's efficacy. If you have great drainage you can really give your chams a good long misting without worrying about getting everything around and underneath your cage soaked.
