You are prompt! I like that! :) Usually we use a 6% uvb bulb which would then be about 20-22 cm from basking area. With the 12%, you’ll want to either raise the light or lower basking area so that there’s 30 cm between them.
I’m not sure if you can get Dragon Ledges in UK, but @Klyde O'Scope can tell you how to craft your own. They really are indispensable for hanging things. Some even use garden trellis attached to the frame to hang things.
If you don’t want to go bioactive, it is best to keep the floor bare. However, you can pretty it up by filling it with bushy potted plants, especially in the front. You can also elevate some plants on flipped over pots or whatever else you have. Keep in mind whatever you put, you’ll be needing to move when it’s cleaning time. With the dark screen and dark substrate tray, the bottom often isn’t very noticeable. In the plant pots, you can put some decorative rocks.

One option: At a home improvement store, pick up some aluminum stock—bar, angle, or channel (whichever you prefer—something with holes will offer more versatility, e.g. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-in-x-36-in-Zinc-Plated-Punched-Square-Tube-803037/206939549) and some stainless sheet metal screws (#8 x twice the thickness of the aluminum). Cut the aluminum to fit inside the frame, drill a hole at each end (if one isn't conveniently there already), and attach with sheet metal screws.

Another option: you can build a trellis out of dowels.
