Hi everyone - I'm looking at new lights for my babies and saw this one... anyone have experience with this?

Might produce too much heat for babies IMHO. I have not used these bulbs because I hear they are tempermental, can explode if they get water droplets on them or get bumped, and compared to a regular old incandescent house bulb cost a lot more just for basking heat. You just need to provide a classic tube ReptiSun 5.0 that won't ever burn your cham.

It will dehydrate them... reptisun 5.0 with no basking light untill they are 3 months old

I have those bulbs for my dragons and they are indeed great lights. However I agree that for a chameleon, ReptiSun 5.0 is the way to go.

Yeah those are more meant for Desert reptiles.
