okay so today I am shopping for Cham food. (specifically silkworms) shoul I buy the live silkies or the eggs? can get up to 500 eggs and the chow for them or should i just stick with the live ones?

you think i would starve it for this long?! heck no! i got crickets, dubias, and supers! i just want some advice with the silkworms since i never had them!

I have found the eggs are easy to hatch although I had more success with a hovabator so you can keep the temps up. You may not have trouble in the summer though when temps are high if you have a warm room. It does take time for them to hatch and grow so if you need food right away go with the cups of live ones.

well i have my dubia colony that is pretty big about 300 or so roaches. and then supers, and crickets. so it should hold out on a while. but i will get both the worms and the eggs. plus the food
