I have a Panther Chameleon and I recently bought a whole bunch of horn worms and they went through their food super fast. What can you feed these things? Also I see a lot of condensation in their cups they came with so I been keeping them open what’s up with that?
The basic ingredients of hornworm chow is: wheat germ and nutritional yeast. They use agar as a gelifying agent in it. Other additives I have seen were: soy flower, vitamins, antibiotics and antifungals.
Repashy had a dry mix that you can add water to and microwave it to make hornworm food. I got the gallon jar of it, and it lasts a long time in the fridge. I just mix up a batch or 2, put it in a pie pan, and then cut cubes out of it to feed once it's cooled. It'll last a week or 2 in the fridge as well.
