What do u feed ur veiled???

Hi, I'm just interested in what everyone feeds their veiled chameleons and what their feeding schedule is, for example, I feed my juvenile male veiled crickets Monday, Dubia roaches Tuesday, Phoenix worms Wednesday and keep repeating the schedule, I also give him a few pieces of collard greens every other day and waxworms and mealworms I give 1 of each every 7 days, super worms I give 2 every 7 days, I want to give him more of a variety but what else is healthy enough to give him as a staple diet? I purchased him from petsmart with mbd, I've had him for 3 weeks and trying to get him healthy, he's much much healthier now but I want him as healthy as I can possibly get him, I've already taken him to the vet and he's getting all the vitamins he needs, now I just want to make sure I'm feeding him right and would love to add more to his diet.

What else could I feed him? Where can I purchase the items you suggest? What do you gut load your feeders with? What is your feeding schedule like? Any suggestions are welcome!! Thanks in advance ;)

Becuase your boy is a juvi with mbd, you can let him eat as much as he wants of the crickets and dubias, but the mealies and supers id limit some, just because of the hard exo skeleton,

I love to feed off silkworms and hornworms, and my chams go crazy for them.

my guys an adult, so i feed every two days, but as a juvi, feeding daily is fine.

I personally use repashy all in one calcium plus for supplementing, but if your vet is good, id stick with whatever they gave you

in regards to gutloading, find sandrachameleons blogs on this, shes the queen of gutload.

Loki my male veiled is a year old. I feed him Dubai's and crickets, I also give him sulkies when I have them. He is terrified of horn worms lol.

I make my own wet gut load and freeze it into ice cube trays. Then transfer it into bags in the freezer. I am at work so I don't have the list of all that I put into it but and idea would be

oranges
kale
collard greens
dandelion greens
apple
red pepper
cucumber
strawberries
bee pollen

I know there is more but I forget lol. Then for my dry I put

coconut
almonds
cereal
vitamins
calcium
rapshy bug burger (I just shake some in)
millet
commercial cricket food
oats

And other things I cant remember lol. I keep my Dubai's in two bins. My breeder bin just gets dry gut load and some orange slices (oranges make them "happy" lol) and my baby bin gets the dry gut load and wet since that's what I feed from.

I feed Loki ever other day and he normally gets 15-20 crickets or 10-15 medium Dubai's. I have liquid calcium in his water mister but I also will dust half of his food with calcium without D3 every other feed and vitamins and calcium with D3 twice a month. I think that's it lol
