No changes to environment. Uvb bulb & heat bulb per this forum. dripper & mister. she’s been crawling all around her rank lately and has been pretty dark & showing interest in the bin of dirt at the bottom, but hasn’t dug & is still eating. her cage is a little bare because i’m switching plants in hopes of giving her more coverage. dome only has one heat lamp inside.

She looks and sounds to be gravid. 🙂 Make sure to cover up at least the lower third or half of the visible part of her enclosure to give her needed privacy for laying. If she doesn’t feel secure enough, she won’t lay her eggs. I always poke little peep holes in the cover sheet so I can monitor my girl’s progress.

Once she starts digging, it usually takes a day or two from start to finish. She may sleep in her tunnel or go to a branch for the night. You’ll know she’s all done when she’s completely covered her tunnel and is basking, looking a bit thinner and dirty. She might not yet be ready to lay, but is close. Until she starts digging, feed & water like normal. If she’s digging, she won’t be needing food and for hydration you can use a dropper or put a couple of ice cubes on the screen top.

Sorry to randomly ask a question...

I'm still waiting for the day littlefoot lays eggs... And have been thinking of buying her, her own Mister system; because her needs are different from Jack's... But just to be sure, you don't use the Mister either while they're preparing their nest?

Matcha is looking healthy!!! 💖 Littlefoot started showing her big girl colors in August; but with the advice given by this forum she hasn't produced eggs... 💕

If you have an automatic mister, that is perfect and no need to worry. But if you’re hand misting, you don’t want to risk disturbing her from her work, so would want to use a dripper method.
