What do I need to do if I get some live plants

I'm visting a guy this evening after work to perhaps get my enclosure, at the weekend I'm going to check out some live plants at some garden centres, Hibiscus, Fiscus and Schefflera. I've read it is best to repot the plants to get them ready before introducing a cham. What exactly should I repot them with and do I need to wash the plants with anything?

Thanks

I would rinse the leaves very well, I also would rinse the roots just in case. it always seemd that my roots will have bugs in them, so I rinse them really good. Then get some soil that has no fertilizer in it(white balls) I also use rocks from the dollar store to go over my soil.

you do not necesaraily have to repot, you can just take about 1 or 2 inches off the top soil and replace it with organic no pesticide soil. or you can simply put rocks like bg77 and i do on top of the soil.

is it a good idea to put peat moss and topsoil in the same pot? i also heard a cham can actually eat the moss and topsoil:S is this true?

they can eat soil.. but be careful with the peat moss.. it could cause compaction.. this i dont know for sure.. I would wait till others answer this question..
