Oh boy!

Well let's see... Turtles box & snappers, frogs, toads, lizards of various kinds, squirrels, flying squirrels, foxes, owls, raccons, possums, rabbits, deer, phesants, turkey... My Dad would drag anything home he found and could get his hands on.. instead of playing with dolls my sister & I dressed up Raccons!!!
But it was great fun! Show in tell at school was always interesting!!!

how do u catch a wid parrot? pulling an ace ventura making bird noises and jumpin off buildings?

They lived in the palm trees outside of my house, we used to climb up there and grab them.

I live in WV and have caught tons of salamanders, muddpuppies, newts, turtles (from accidental snapping turtle snags to hand caught softshells), frogs(tinny little gold and green ones-it kills me that i cant find a name for them up to leopard and bullfrogs), and toads. I really love the orange eastern newts (Red Eft), and Cheat Mountain Salamanders (endangered).

We used to take trips to Florida a lot and we would catch Five-Lined Skinks and Anoles. I feel bad now because we caught the Anoles with a slip not contraption made out of dental floss. I don't think it hurt them at all, but it seems very cruel now that I'm older.

My favorite capture was Poison Dart Frogs in Costa Rica during a summer time school trip. Those little guys were amazing! Lots of hand washing afterwords though.
