Best not to buy animals from a retail store

Pet stores are just animal movers that aren't concerned with the individual animal
they're businesses that sell "names" of animals to people that want "X" to own.
usually the customers aren't informed enough to tell a good animal from a bad one.
the die off from such businesses is high due to poor customer husbandry.

if you're interested there's many people here that have them for sale (cough* cough*)
post an wanted ad in the correct forum and see if anyone has one for sale.
although jacksons aren't the best of choices for those that aren't positive about their ability to care.
best you select a hardier species (imo).

Through my PMs with Washoe he and his wife seem pretty confident. Considering their collection I would say they have the ability to 'care'.
