I am interested in another chameleon. I am looking for something that would stay relatively small ( Under 12"). I have the resources(funding/time) to take in another. I have a complete cage set-up already (18x18x36" Alum Screen) with all the lighting/decor/plants...etc. What are my options? Thanks in advance!:)

I have a panther female along with a female vield, and I agree they would work out well, yet I want to try something a bit diffrent.:)

I do like Jacksons, they seam very interesting, Is there a more specific species I should look into? I am uneducated on the Jacksons in general... I have noticed you have been "off line" more Amanda, I figured you had your hands full with the dogs, pets,pictures...etc:D

Thank you all very much for your input!!:)

If it was me, I would get myself a little female carpet cham. I think they are amazing looking and it's cool that the females are more colourful than the males for a change! A female carpet is most definitely at the top of my wish list!

how about a cb flapneck..they stay relatively small and are pretty hardy if cb....aa reptiles has some on kingsnake....i just ordered two

I do like the Carpets aswell and inquired on where to find one a while back to no avail. Everyone says FL has them and Chad had some, but when I look they are all out. I will have to do my homework and narrow it down. ;)

I would have to say male carpet as opposed to female carpet. The only reason is that the female that i had laid her eggs and died within a month. My male lived for almost a year. They were both wild caught.

P.S. The males also throw off crazy colors. When i misted my male he went solid yellow.

Yea, Ive been swamped. Dog went into heat, got unexpected chameleons, babysitting a lot, been sick.. Its piling up!!

I hear there are dwarfs.. I suppose they wouldnt need as much space and it would be easier to maintain temps in a smaller space.

What about pygmys? I was thinking about getting some awhile ago but now I dont have the time or space...They are really neat and they breed easily from what Ive heard. And they are usually always in demand so wouldnt be hard to sell them if you wanted...

Malicious, I'm gonna post a pic of my Sons Jackson he takes care of all on his own (with my guidence) I live in Colorado and he has his in Texas, where he lives in the winters with his Mom, Ok he's 11 years old and has had this guy for about 9 months now. & I have to admit look how Chubby, healthy the sub adult is. And this 11 year old is caring for this all on his own down there! If he can do it, so can you with the right setup and guidence. So try one of these, as for a Fishers they are a very awsome, but like to Roam allot more.

I guess his Mom took the pic, abit blurry and the Cham Is looking down at somthing, but you get it

Here is his Soon to be breeder Male

Carpets are amazing and easy to take care of as long as you have the right humidity and everything to accomidate it. You can get a male of female it's your choice but if I was you I would make sure it's CB and not wild caught
