I know I need more plants and I need some substrate? If you have substrate like dirt then how do you clean cage. Here are some pics. Cage is 16 x 16 by 30 inches tall. Thanks
Reptibreeze set up and then added Arcadia lamp and mist system. Lighting is about 7 am to 7 pm. I used spring water in mist system. I have RepCal vitamins for food items.
There are really only two good substrates...none or bioactive. That enclosure is too small for most adult chameleons, like panther or veiled. Have you thought about perhaps a crested gecko? They look pretty cool.
Sorry guy. Don’t wanna make you sad, but not going to lie. There are smaller chams like carpet chameleons, but I’ve no idea of their care. Hopefully someone else will have a good suggestion for you.
A baby veiled or panther should be fine in there but once they get older than 6 months or so you need to upgrade it to a 2x2x4ft enclosure, and you need to put higher horizontal branches and more hiding spots so it doesn’t get as stressed all the time.
