What causes respiratory illness/URI?

I just realized that i have no idea what causes this.

Viruses, bacteria, drafts, mold in the cage...many things.

In most cases its caused by either less than suitable temps or improper humidity levels given to reptiles with specific humidity needs. By maintaining proper temperature and humidity levels, there is a smaller chance of your cham catching an URI. Cleaning the cage often does more than good.
