Honestly they really do best with hornworm chow, which you can buy as a powder and it's really easy to mix up, cook, and cut up for your hornworms. I have a gallon jug of the Repashy chow which has lasted a LONG time in my fridge as powder, and I mix up 1-2 batches at a time as needed. Otherwise you can use the veggies you'd normally use for gutloading.
