What can and can't breed.?

Hello,
I had some questions just out of curiosity...
I know panther locals can be mixed with no health worries because they are the same species. But what different species can breed with no health concerns
If two chameleons are in the same group (kinyongia) can they breed? Or are the babies garenteed to be steral and w/ health problems?

Whenever two separate species do breed and produce children they are always sterile (see mule and liger).

To my knowledge there are no chameleon species cross breeding possibilities.
