Ewww I just have wild animal problems to deal this in my area.

The east coast has tons of both, where there's moisture there's creatures everywhere!

South east US, roaches are very common. They go in and out of houses, rich and poor. in florida they come out of the pipes even I know. People block off their shower drains.

I wouldn't worry too much. Just look for some high moisture areas, leaks, etc. Keep things dry and they'll leave.

Yup, Florida is a roach magnet. I’ve had roaches crawl up drains before. Thanks to James I no longer have a roach phobia
