Hi again, I've got an exo terra 45x45x45, Iv got my 40w basking light on the left, uv light in the middle, thermometer on the right side (why I don't know lol)
Now my thermometer is saying about 72. Is this ok a for a 4 month panther chameleon Or should I get a slightly bigger basking bulb??

Cheers guys

no that is WAY too low. Your temp should be 90-95. Try using a 60 watt and keep upgrading. If your cage is that big then I would have more than one basking spot. That is a huge cage. What is the cage temp not in the basking area?

I apologise, the cage is 45x45x45cm, nd the temperature is 72-75 at the opposite side of the basking spot

Like I say Rango, my chameleon, is only 4 months old so once he gets a bit bigger I will put him in a bigger cage, maybe 36"x24"x48" tall! Can't wait!!!!

When I had a thermometer on that side it was between 85-90! I just worry about the little bugger lol he's such a dude!!!! Just found out he's a blue bar ambilobe, does anybody hav any pics of an adult male? Just wondered what he might look like as an adult!!

Yeah I'm using a 40w bulb at the minute!! He seems to love it! I can't wait to see him she'd for the 1st time lol
