I am new to chameleons, and my male Jackson has been eating crickets and mealworms exclusively. Today the vet said I need to increase his food choices. This thread is so helpful, but I have a question. How do you keep the worms and flying bugs? How often do you order? We don't have a feeder. We just drop in his food. Thanks.
Cicadas, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, blue bottle flies, mantises, katydids, locusts, and orange head roaches. Neither of my parsons were very moved by silks or hornworms, though they'd take them sometimes. My veiled loves them, however.
My Panther is absolute creeping death for crickets (his FAV) and waxworks/grubs. He also greatly enjoys Dubia roaches and mealworms. I haven't fed him silkworms or horn worms yet.
Silas loves crickets and super worms. He will eat a horn worm occasionally. Hates wax worms and roaches. I would like to feed him a stick bug but I don't know where to get them.
