What are these?

I bought these two about a year ago as little babies from a woman who spoke no English (Vietnamese). Her daughter, about 5 interpreted for me, I was told they were 3 months old, siblings and they were "the super red ones". I now know they were only about 1 month old and they are obviously not "the super red ones".

I am classifying them as "crosses" since I can't say they are pure anything.

What say you?

You bet they are crosses! Lol. I think Nosy Fall and ambilobe or possibly even Ambanja. This guy is a pure Ambilobe. I know because I have had his ancestors for quite a few generations!

He looks quite similar to your second one though.

Definitely a Nosy Faly, and I'm going to guess Ambilobe Cross. They don't have much of the "banja nose" so I'm going to cross Ambanja off the list. I love their look though, all that red rain!

Nice pictures the new phone is really paying off. I have to agree that they probably don't have any Ambanja no big rostrum or yellow mouth.
Ambilobe is probably what she meant by the "red" ones. They were a great find for a pair you basically rescued from being flushed.
