Correct me if I'm wrong but they're illegal in some states and countries right? I live in england and i know I cant get them.

Never heard of them begin illegal. Its a tobacco worm, and its barely a minor pest in tobacco country. Then again in the USA its illegal to breed/sell like 99% of cricket species so anything goes, we cant even have locus.

Don't know if this helps anyone struggling to get hornworms outside the US. Worldwide Butterflies operates out of Britain and usually have hornworms/silkworms and other exotic caterpillars. Just make sure the particular sub species they have aren't toxic to chams. The guy that runs it is awesome!
Whenever I order to the US (for my other hobby) they are able to send eggs, but not pupae or larvae. Maybe look into getting some eggs so Customs doesn't destroy them!

Yes, they are illegal in most of europe because they are a pest and could eat crops and become a plague, if i understand it correclty.
You never see them on reptile expos either.
Such a shame, as they are very good feeders lol.
