Hi I'm just woundering what are peoples experiences with shopping online? Like for example witch is the best place to buy live chameleons? Im scared for my chameleons that if I order them online they will be dead I need some reassurance as you can tell I never ordered a cham from the net so for the people that do how is it? What are things I should look for when ordering and questions that need to be asked and things I should do before I order? So I know I shop correctly since I cant see the animal in front of me?

We have ordered two of our chameleons online. One was from Chameleons Northwest, the other from Chameleon Company. Both are sponsors here on the site. Well, Chameleon Company was a sponsor, not sure what happened with that, but the male we got from him is extremely healthy and stunning. Both chameleons arrived alive and healthy, ready for their new home :)

Our other 2 chameleons came from Screameleons, both were picked up at a reptile expo in NY. Check your area for possible reptile expos.

Hi,

in the classifieds here you can buy from well known forum members and I don't know a single case where bad quality was offered. It's very easy here to get in contact with the breeders of beginner chameleons and if you search a bit in this forum you can find all informations you need for housing a chameleon

best regards

Most important thing is to go with someone who has a good reputation. Pick out the cham you want then go to faunaclassifieds.com . You can check someones prior history and find out all about their customer service from others who have posted about prior deals. A great way to check up on a breeder. But if you go with any of our sponsors or members that breed chams I really doubt you will have any issues. Ive bought almost all my chams from sponssors or members and all were shipped and received on time and arrived healthy.

Yes I would look through the classifieds and try to find a full grown or adult cham if this is your first cham. The older guys are much easier to care for, eat less often, and are most times more used to people. Be sure you have your cage setup and running before you order but the cham will arrive overnight and he will be just fine.

Any of our site sponsors will be great to deal with.

Oh, Fool, if you would like to inquire about a business, Fauna BOI is the place to do so. I know you weren't being specific, but when you ask where "the best place to buy" something is, it can turn a little funny here since you are not allowed to post about problems w/businesses.
