Pfeffer's??

could it be pfefferi?

Ah! That was way too easy! Yes, the little doll came out of its shell sometime since dinner time this evening. Wish us luck. There are 4 more eggs in this clutch and all look good. Our other Pfeffer's girl laid 8 eggs a few weeks ago! All 4 pfeffer's (2.2) we got with that shipment are doing well. I have found the adults to be quite hardy. I am hoping the babies will be, as well.

Have either of you 2 had hatchlings yet? I need advice.

Congrats! My female dropped a clutch of eggs on her cage floor shortly after I received them and they dessicated before I found them. :( I let the pair cohabitate for a while a month or so ago and now she acts non-receptive so I'm hoping to get another clutch.

I don't have any of this species.
If the WC adults have proven to be hardy, my guess is that these CH babies will be little tanks!
Congratulations on hatching a species we don't see every day!

Wow. How'd you 2 learn to syncronize your posts like that? :)

He's in a baby cage now in our "cool" room. We will be offering him newborn crickets. I just really want it to work out for him. This is such a nice species.

They're twins, you didn't know? You can also recognize that Kent was the first born, and the fastest of the two! :p

Ha!
Don't tell Kent that (I'm actually a year older than his car;))
I was typing first, but had to go to google to make sure I was spelling pfefferi correctly.

Really nice event gesang!! Pfeffers are so beautiful but i know they're also a hard species to keep.. and breeding them it would be a big gratification!! :)

All 5 hatched and all 5 are doing well. I am thinking this is a very hardy species. We had another lady lay 9 eggs 2 weeks ago. So, we now have 16 or 17 more eggs incubating. These are some of the most low-stress chameleons I have ever owned.

Amazing! Is anyone else having sucess like this?
