Just wondering at what age should i put my Panther in his bigger cage? Right now he is about 7 months in a 65 gallon, The other cage i have is 175 with real plants growing in it. The plants are at about half the hight of the cage right now but i have tons of vines to fill the top. Is it too soon to move him to a bigger cage?

I'd say now is about the time. I personally feel that at any age they can live in a large enclosure.

I just relate it to the wild, they are born in a massive rainforest, not a small exo-terra enclosure! :p

I'd say move him - I'm getting my first panther tomorrow, he will be 3-4 months old and I will be putting him in a 2x2x4' enclosure.

How old will your panther be? when they are smaller they tend to do a bit better in smaller cages at first, simply bc it helps them feel more secure, ntm it helpsthem find their food easier.

I'm getting a Nosy Faly..It'll be my first cham!

I see you are from Toronto too! Where abouts?

If you havent done so yet, You HAVE to get a mistking. Well worth the $100. Who are you buying the cham from?

Mississauga, about 5 minuts from square one. How about you?

4 months old..I put a feeding cup in there near the basking spot. So, hopefully he finds his food okay!

Ok if your cup feeding it should be ok, but keep an eye on it. if he seems to struggle, you may need to temporarily reduce his cage size. I used to free range my feeders cuz my guy was in his baby cage.

I am getting a MistKing for sure - how long does it take to ship, I'm going to need it soon, so I don't want to wait a while! :p

I'm buying the cham from ChameleonsCanada, Edgar - I'd recommend him if you ever want a Faly!

I live in Woodbridge, about 2 minutes from Vaughan Mills!
