What a Pothos!

I purchased a very large and robust Hawaiian Golden Pothos plant from Etsy and was not disappointed. Look at those leaves compared to the smaller pothos plants from Home Depot :) Also I just can’t believe that a few months ago I was a new chameleon owner with a 3’ enclosure and fake plants and vines. Thank you CF members for helping a new cham owner unlearn a lot of the nonsense I was taught by the pet store people. Good husbandry is an evolving practice which is based on the latest science and also our best judgment. I’ll keep practicing.

I'm wondering what makes it different than other golden pothos.
Mine climbs the back wall, but I'm not seeing leaves like that.
Wondering if it's a GMO or hybrid or something(?) 🤷‍♂️

Hi Klyde,
I found this article on the subject:
https://gardenforindoor.com/golden-pothos-vs-hawaiian-pothos/

“Hawaiian Pothos is a cultivar of Golden Pothos due to selective breeding. Its appearance is recognizable through its speckles of yellow variegation. The stem’s color is also yellow, while the leaves grow larger in time.”

...Also curious that the cultivar quote came out in this reply but not the original post!

Klyde, the quote is from the article in the link I provided. I edited that response real quick so any further readers would be able to quickly view what a Hawaiian pothos is rather than reading the whole article.
