hi i was wondering if anyone had some good consistent wet gutload recipes and where to get the ingrediants. btw i already looked at sandrachameleons blogs and was jw what everyone elses uses as well

Hi,
I don't think there's anything else to add to Sandra's blog. There is more then enough info there ;)

yeah but when i looked at it all she has are dry gutload recipes but for wet gutload she just lists all the ingrediants that she has used and also doesnt say where she got them from. unless i have missed one of them lol. i hope this doesnt make her mad cause her blogs are absolutley great. soooooo much info it makes my head spin lol

not mad. :)

Where she got them from = mostly I grow them. Others I buy from farmers markets and grocery stores :)

You really dont need a recipe. Just use a variety (rather than a consistency) of those things you saw listed. Go with what is in season, or what you have on hand, or what is on sale, or what you havent used in awhile.

For example, week one you might use dandelion and oranges on the first day dandelion and squash on the second day, then for day three some dry gutload stuff along with carrots, day for maybe arugula and clover, day five back to dandelion leaves but this time along with sweet potatoe. Day six and seven you use up some romaine lettuce before it goes bad.
Week two you might use papaya, carrots, and mustard greens.
Week three maybe some more dandelion, some clover, some pear and some steamed yam.
Week four perhaps you have some apples, kale, and gumbo.
the Fifth week basil, oranges, alfalfa, arugula, carrot, green beans and whatever

okay good. i didnt wanna offend you. but thanks so much. looks like i have a good shopping list this week :) oh and by oranges you mean like actual orange slice right?

The actual fruit, yes. I dont use the peel.

I hope this is not a silly question - but can you take and blend all of these in a blender and freeze it ? and then just pull as needed ? or will it change it and destroy the nutrition, I only ask because when I make kitten milk for the new born , I put it in an ice cube tray, and pull it out as I need it until they get bigger and can drink more at a time- but I make my own and use goat milk - I know you can not freeze cow milk, was not sure if crix food could be made in bulk, and frozen - I am getting 1000 crix in this weekend and want to feed them correctly :)
TY
