He was very good for the vet though, didn’t hiss or bite them at all. They all thought he was quite the gentleman.

They asked if I ever soaked him to get the shed off and I said I couldn’t do that because it’s not good for them and they’re dry shedders. It made me a little concerned about their credibility and knowledge of chameleons. Overall, I think it was a success and I got good information, but I can’t help still being a little concerned. Now to wait for the fecal results…

I wouldn't use water or a wet q-tip to help the shedding for that very reason... Wetting the skin will make the shed stick more.
