Weird spot on panther chameleon

Hey guys!

this is my first post on here but I wanted to ask about an odd spot I noticed on my 1 year old panther cham. I was wondering if it was a bite or maybe something fungal or worse. Please just let me know if I need to take medical steps! Thanks!

Looks very similar to papiloma virus. You need a good reptile vet to biopsy. If it is Papiloma then it is more of a keep him comfortable thing and keep him away from other reptiles as it is contagious and does spread.
Question, do you have any articles or something on Papiloma? I don't know much about it and I would like to read on it.

Okay, thank you! He seems relatively healthy and happy which is why that concerned me. He eats well and moves when he feels so inclined haha.
It spreads as they age... This is the issue with it. Depending on where it pops up on their body it can make quality of life an issue. And of course if you have other reptiles then you have the issue of cross contamination. You can not catch it though if that is what it is.
