Weird sleeper!

so really interesting... i recently got my cham a new screen cage.. i put her in it on thursday and she seems to be loving it! she's still only about 6 weeks old right now. she's climbing all over the walls and everything... i have a habiscus plant in there too. i got home from work yesterday, fed her a few crickets and then turned the light off because i heard the light should be on for about 12 hours a day.. i go back in to my room later that night to get ready for bed and i see her just sitting on the wall all curled up like she's going to be going to sleep. weirdest thing! i've only seen her sleep on horizontal surfaces.. thursday night, she was sleeping on one of the leaves of the plant and had another leaf on top of her looking like a blanket... she seems quite the weirdo but she's very much a cutie! wish i could have gotten a pic of it but my phone doesn't seem to want to take pics anymore

When mine was tiny, he used to snuggle up on horizontal leaves, often with his head pressed against the side the cage lol. He's 5 months old now & sometimes sleeps at an angle.

Every time I've moved a chameleon to a new cage there has been "weird sleeping" for a bit. I'm not sure what's behind it. They all eventually settled down to fairly standard sleeping positions/places

Lol thats funny you say that, because before that my girl who is currently around 4 months old and like a month ago in her old cage she would sleep straight up on the side of her cage lol just hanging on the screen, Now since she has been in her new cage nearly a week she picks a new place every night and it is a pain to find her lol
