Weird Discoid suprise

I was feeding a Discoid toach to my cham and right when he bit into it this fell out of the bottom. What the heck??! I thought it was roach guts but it looks more like an egg sack or something. Anyone know what it is?

It's an ootheca.
It won't hatch now.....discoids retain the ooth in their body until hatching.
Too bad.
Maybe you should try to feed males only in case you have any other "pregnant" females.

Ah man... I messed up. That was my last discoid too. It's hard to tell the males from the females. They all look alike to me.
