Weeping fig

I have heard all over the place that ficus plants (weeping fig) are great for keeping chameleons. I also heard that they are mildly toxic and contain irritating sap, will this be a problem for my jackson's? He is a juvenile male jackson's and I don't want his skin being irritated. Any advice? If you don't think weeping fig is a good idea, what other large chameleon safe plants might I be able to find at a home depot or other home improvement store? Thanks,

I don't think there should be a problem. My jacksons loved their fig and never had any problems.:)

The sap is only irritating to them if they break off the leaves and touch the broken part before the sap heals up. We commonly use ficus trees in all the store cages (in addition to at our breeding facility) with no problems. You should be fine. :)
