Meet these new spectral babies that hatched this weekend after 108 days incubating. They are the size of a dime and are eating and following their prey as if they were full grown adults.

Thanks to both. A pair hatched. Spectrals usually lay two eggs at a time. The other two eggs are not due for another 60 days. It is incredible but only two days later and they already look larger than in the pics. I will try to post some more pics later.

they are so cool! At first when you said 108 days I was like how could they have hatched so soon but then I saw they were not panthers. Congrats on the babies!

Congrats. My all time favorite baby pyg photo was on top of a pencil eraser to show how small they are. Power to the Pygmies!
