Weather changes

So my segenal, Daisy, has been lazy the past few days to a week. We were worried that she was sick, but she seems to just not want crickets, only worms. We also noticed that she has been going to her sleepy spot a little earlier than usual. She seems to be okay, good color and moving around when we have worms out. My question is if anyone notices a difference in their cham's when the weather changes or gets colder?

It may depend on how much your local weather changes and how that affects your house climate, your use of AC or heat during different seasons. Someone in FL may not notice that much change from season to season, but someone living in NYC may see more. Where are you located? Has the light level/day length changed much during that week? How about the room temps and humidity level (it can go down once heating season starts and the air dries out).

Watch out that you don't create a picky eater by narrowing down her diet to her favorite feeders. If she's not hungry every day don't offer food every day. A bit of hunger will keep her from getting TOO picky. Can you try some additional feeders to diversify her diet and spark a bit of interest?

I live in south Texas, so humidity is never a problem. It's at 50% low here and in the summer usually around 90%. I took her outside yesterday and she became more active. I think she was grumpy from us coming home after a weekend vacation. She also only went for some worms. So she's being picky.

Being taken outdoors will make her more active. Its a big stimulant..."real" sunlight, a huge new surrounding view, all sorts of stuff to react to. I really doubt she resented your vacation!;)
