Thanks I needed that!!! :) BUT you know it's true, and yes I probably do need to talk to someone..... That's why I'm here :D

Yes we do all of this and love it!....and even get our husbands in on it and get them, well mine, to behaving the same way.

Oddly enough..our male Ambanja tried to poop on my head the other day :p lol

My wife is a good sport and actually likes my chams but would never admit it. :)
That said you can forget about her having ANYTHING to do with the feeders. LOL
She does let me ship them to her school(she is a principal) and she will go as far as to open the boxes to let them have fresh air but that's about it so far. It's a work in progress.

hahaha, these days, talking about chams pooping on keepers heads is normal in my house. at first everyone thought i had lost it but once they checked out the forum, they got as sucked in as i did :) 80 percent of what we talk about is cham & forum related, and i LOVE it! my boyfriend still finds in strange occasionally when he comes over and we all are discussing the best way to prevent cricket escapees but he's slowly hopping on the band wagon :D

My husband has nothing to do with my chams or the feeders or anything! He gave me the money for Christmas to buy another one but that is as far as it goes!!!

i am going to California next month. My hubby and my friend agree to feed and fill drippers, sadly I have no idea what my poor feeders will be fed while I am gone. I leave a care sheet, but I am just not to sure they follow it to the letter.:( None of the people here love or even like chams. They just tolerate them for me.

My whole family likes Kuzco:) my dad (he's the solitary veteran type) comes up and checks him out and holds him and stuff (won't touch feeders tho! Its like "really dad, the things you've seen and you won't touch a BUG  lol) mom treats the crickets like her own personal hobby  and sis rushes all of her friends up to my room to see what the chameleon is doing (you should see the excitement on their faces lol)

Sadly, they always ask "So whwn will he changes colors to match his background?" *face palm*
The first time dad asked he goes "So I've been lied to all my life?" And I was like "Yeah pretty much." Lol

I am lucky (in many ways ) but my sons 26,24,22 years old have grown up with herps, they used to get 10-12 neighborhood kids to take Francis my 20 foot Berm Python for a walk! LOL. Anyway they all love reptiles and all know alot about taking care of them. If I go out of town and I do often they will all help take care of my chams and even feeders as it just seem's natural to them. All three of my sons worked in my pet wholesale business as well as my pet stores so I am blessed to have such fine young men as my son's but the extra blessing is I don't have to worry about pet sitters unless we all go vacation together and we do but then I have some friends to pick up the slack!!!
Lucky for me cause if I didn't I would not do much as I am VERY picky about the care my animals get. This goes back to my childhood as my mom was the one who got me started in Herps. With my mom there was NO excuses for not giving ALL our pets the best life possible. Sorry for the baah, blah, blah.

is there any way you could set up the food for them and label it and maybe make a little schedule so all they had to do was plop it in there when it says? im glad at least everyone else will be fed and watered but the feeders are important too!!
