I just got an order of 500 1/2 inch crickets and realize now that its way too many... Anyone in the Northern NJ area want some free crickets? I would be happy to part with at least 200.

Is your cham a male or female?
I also have a translucent cham, shes a female about 5 months old I belive

That has nothing to do with whether or not you want crickets. I think you posted in the wrong thread, dude.

I'd be happy to help you part ways with your crickets but I live nowhere near there. Good luck.

Put them in a 10 gallon aquarium keep them on the cool side maybe room temp to slow growth. Throw some sweet potato, carrots, greens etc. and you should have food for a while.

On the same subject way too many crickets.

I keep my feeders in a separate container,
I think the bucket is a great idea we purchased a critter keeper when we got the chams.

shook some off an egg carton into the Cham cage and way to many went in there. The crickets are now purching where the Cham used to like to sit. Seems the chams are like hiding more as well.

Young veiled I think only 2 or 3 months old. We have had them just over a week and they eat 4 or 5 a day.

There must be 25-30 crickets in there now.

I would actually take the crickets out of the cage if he is not eating them. That would stress out your cham.
