hey everyone my local pet store finally got more waxworms in. they havent been able to get them because of the terrible heat we have been having. so i picked up like three cups of them. it was the first time TRex has ever had a waxworm but i am pretty sure it is now in love with them. i was wondering if anyone has come up with the best way to keep them. i was wondering what is the best bedding to keep them in. i know you are supposed to mix something with honey but i am not sure what. so if anyone has any sugestions for me that would be great. thanks

U can keep waxworks in the fridge? I was told they will die in the fridge because it's too cold? Do you put they in different bedding then what u buy them in?

yup i put them in the fridge as well and they go into a dormant state, when ever u wanna feed em just take em out and let them thaw for a bit.

Over here in the UK they come in plastic pots with wood shavings. I keep them in this pot in the fridge and take them out before use to get them wriggling again!

you can keep waxies in the fridge but if possible only on the shelves on the inside of the door as its slightly warmer than other parts of the fridge. if you keep them like this then they will be difficult to gut load as they go dormant. feeding them powdered bee pollen is fab as its very nutrious and makes them a healthier treat for your cham
